We have another fantastic year lined up for you! In the programme below you will find many of your favourite courses of previous years, such as vegetable growing, watercolour, willow sculpture and festive crafts. But we introduce a range of new ones, too, which will capture your imagination: ‘Planet Panic’, ‘Tai Chi’ and ‘Hedgerow Drinks and Tonic Wines’, to name but three. Browse now; book soon!

The Garden Station’s courses are really great days out – productive and enjoyable (our feedback forms show participants really loving them), and we’ve kept the prices the same as last year!

Arrange something special for yourself

Did you know that we can arrange something special for your group or party? For example, we can do a bread course for just 4 or 5, a lunch or supper with a gardening talk or craft activity for your WI, allotment group or works outing...the possibilities are many! And we can take all sorts of party bookings in our café, from birthdays to wedding parties. For more details, just get in touch. Enquiries for group visits, parties and bespoke courses are always welcome. Please contact us.

Course times

All day courses run from 10.45 to 4.30 unless otherwise stated. This timing is to coincide with the bus times from and to Hexham, and is part of our commitment to environmental responsibility.

Prices and Discounts

We have held our prices at 2009 levels!

All our courses, which include organic & Fairtrade tea/coffee on arrival, full home-made lunch & tea/coffee & home-made cake in the afternoon, cost £48 full price, with the following discounts available:

Arrive by bike, on foot or by bus: save 10% - Share a lift in a car: save 5%
2. BOOK A READ OR PICK A PIC:
All purchases (books, art, etc.) made on the day of your course will attract 10% off
3. ACCOMMODATION OFFER:
