Make delightful accessories from merino wool fibre. Inventive, vibrant and colourful.
Making felt from wool fibre is a magical process. we will make felt using a couple of different methods and you will have some really colourful felted things to take home. Katie will provide all equipment and materials, including beads and embellishments if you want to add some sparkle to your creations. There will be a number of books for reference and Katie will have details of where you can buy merino fibre and the very simple things you need to get you started at home once you are hooked! She will also have some packs of merino fibre to buy at the end of the day if you feel inspired.
Felt-making is a wet process, but not excessively so, and we will be making small pieces. You won't need any special clothing - but Katie likes wearing colours to match the felt - so you might too!
