The aim of the session is to develop your confidence in making your own floral decorations using vases/containers that you already have and using flowers/herbs greenery from your own garden. I will demonstrate how to make a variety of arrangements from small dainty decorations to larger arrangements to grace your dinner table.
We will look at how to:
- Use everyday found objects as a container for a floral decoration.
- Make a posy.
- Some basic floristry principles.
- Make the most of what you have in your own garden.
- Condition flowers to get the most out of them.
Participants may like bring along an object that they love: the challenge will be how to incorporate it into a floral arrangement.
