Inventive Propagation
with Malcolm Hockham
Dates for 2008:
- Tuesday 30th September 10 - 4, £40 incl. lunch
Autumn is the ideal time to propagate plants - all kinds of fascinating and productive techniques.
Malcolm Hockham, gardener at Eggleston Hall Gardens, is probably one of the best known horticulturists in the North of England and a specialist in various types of propagation. He says, "They say gardening is the new Rock & Roll... I doubt that, but like anyone whose ever been in a band, there's a desire to express yourself creatively, develop your own ideas, or in my case, propagate and grow the plants I've most admired in a lifetime of gardening. I've yet to meet a genuinely miserable gardener..." Malcolm's knowledge is both practical and technical and always put across in a direct and humorous manner.

"Plantsman's Corner" along with Eggleston Hall Gardens is very much the final chapter in a life dedicated to gardening and the growing of beautiful plants.
