Keeping a few hens for their eggs can be a hugely enjoyable experience and surprisingly easy once you understand the basics. We will talk about the type of hens you might choose, what their needs are, some common problems you might encounter and how to deal with them. We will visit Katie’s hens nearby for some practical work, so please bring weatherproof clothes and footwear. And we may get eggs for lunch!
