Making felt from wool fibre is a magical process. We will explore the wet felting process by laying out and felting our own unique scarf. Katie will provide all equipment and materials, not just the beautiful merino fibre in a range of stunning colours, but lace, silk fibres and other embellishments to add interest to your creation.
There will be a number of books for reference and Katie will have details of where you can buy fibre and the very simple things you need to get you started at home once you are hooked! She will also have some packs of merino fibre to buy at the end of the day if you feel inspired.
Felt-making is a wet process, but not excessively so. You won't need any special clothing - but Katie likes wearing colours to match the felt - so you might too!
