Colourful creative workshop using natural fleece from local and rare breed sheep.  Plants used will include ancient favourites such as madder and weld and traditional cottage dye plants among others.  Learn how to grow your own dyes and care for your dyed wool.  All materials and equipment are provided by Eve. 

Preparation of the fleece and the mordanting process will be explained, and the wool used will be pre-mordanted with copper and alum, plus some un-mordanted for comparison which will give us a wonderful range of colours!
