Sewing: Mini Velvet Bag

Discover new techniques and skills as you learn how to construct a simple but beautiful bag with boxed corners, fabric handles and lining.  Start by using any combination of fabric scraps, ribbons, buttons, embroidery and appliqué to decorate the front of the bag (ideas provided, but feel free to bring your own!), then work through the construction steps with detailed help from the tutor, Vicky, who runs Frosterley Bazaar. Some experience of straight machine sewing is useful.

N.B. in order to participate in this course, you are required to bring your own sewing machine in safe working order. Charge for specialist materials: £5, payable to the tutor on the day.
