Watercolour for Beginners
with Rosie Villiers-Stuart

• Your Course:

This course will suit those who have done little or no painting before, or who want some encouragement to get started again after a long gap. We’ll start from scratch with demonstrations and exercises covering colour mixing, brushwork, washes, and how to control wet and dry paint.  In the afternoon participants will have a go at completing a simple painting with lots of one-to-one tuition.
 
Please bring basic painting kit, including one or two watercolour brushes, watercolour paints (I suggest cadmium red, alizarin crimson, cadmium lemon, cadmium yellow pale, ultramarine blue and vandyke brown) and a pad of watercolour paper – Langton is fine – at least 12 x 16 ins, and a palette or plate to mix paints on.
