A day to work on different approaches to flower painting, concentrating on process rather than finished pieces. In the morning Rosie will demonstrate techniques to meet the particular challenges of painting flowers, and participants will be able to practise these. In the afternoon if the weather is kind we will work outside in the garden, or otherwise work inside painting flowers and flower-based still lifes.
Please bring your usual watercolour painting kit, plenty of watercolour paper (the backs of discarded paintings are fine for this) and if possible one or two recent paintings.
