Humanist Ceremonies
For those with no religious belief it’s important that you can mark special occasions like this with honesty, warmth and affection, using words and music that are personal & appropriate to the lives of the people involved.
Every humanist ceremony is special, created specifically for the people involved and is based on shared human values but with no religious elements. The ceremony will be focused on the occasion and the people involved,
there are no strict rules beyond basic legal requirements.
The Humanist celebrant will ensure the occasion is exactly what you and your family want.
A Humanist celebration means that you can get married in a ceremony that reflects your own beliefs, express your vows to each other in your own words; be formal, or thoroughly informal. You can choose your own readings and music which mean something to you, as a couple.

Pagan Handfasting
A handfasting is an old Pagan custom, dating back to the time of the ancient Celts.
Today, Wiccans and Pagans have embraced handfasting as a part of their wedding ceremony.
There are many variations of the traditional handfasting. After the bride and groom both declare their intent to enter into this union, the hands of the couple are clasped and fastened together with a cord or cords just before, just after, or during their vows are made to one another. The wrapping of the cord forms an infinity symbol. The handfasting knot that is tied is a symbolic representation of oneness between the couple. In a show of unity, they become bound to each other.
We have a magical woodland space for handfasting ceremonies to take place close to the station. So why not have your legal ceremony in the station and follow it with an unforgettable ceremony in the woodland clearing.
